Here is the process, step by step.
Choose your pathway
Every Biography Studio story begins with Reflections, the seven-chapter foundation that covers your life from earliest memory to the present day. From there, you can add Chronicle or Wisdom to go further.
You can make that decision now or at any point along the way.
Work through your chapters
Each chapter presents a set of carefully designed questions. Answer them in whatever way feels natural: type directly into the page, or speak your answers aloud and watch your words appear on screen.
Biography Studio works on any device — desktop, tablet, or phone — with nothing to download. There are no deadlines. Dip in and out whenever you have a quiet half hour. Most projects unfold over weeks or months, entirely at the author’s own pace.
Add your photos
Each chapter has space for one photograph. Add yours as you go. A single well-chosen image can bring an answer to life in a way that words alone cannot.
Submit and choose your editing option
When you are happy with a chapter, you submit it. At that point you choose whether you would like your answers edited by our team.
If you choose editing, your answers are shaped into clean, readable prose while preserving everything you actually said. If you prefer your words exactly as written, that option is there too.
Review and finalise
When all your chapters are complete, you review your book before anything goes to print. Read through everything, make any final changes, and give your approval when you are satisfied. Nothing is printed without your sign-off.

Your finished book arrives as a professionally printed hardback, A5, with a matte cover. One colour photograph per chapter. A matching PDF copy included. Free UK delivery.
